Instead of tracking plain text changes like traditional Git, it hashes the Abstract Syntax Tree to follow the true logical structure of code. This approach ensures precise traceability for AI generated code, allows teams to block undocumented AI commits, roll back broken functions with the Amnesia Protocol, and coordinate large scale code generation. Aura runs entirely locally, is open source, and significantly reduces LLM token usage.
