About the role
The Company
Medely is a high-growth series-C technology start-up reimagining the future of healthcare work by providing an on-demand marketplace and workforce management tools. With the support of top-tier investors, Medely has quickly become a go-to platform for healthcare professionals to instantly access high-paying jobs with the freedom and flexibility to work when and where they want.
As a fully remote team of sharp, collaborative, and entrepreneurial individuals, we are dedicated to redefining the way healthcare workers and facilities work together to provide for patients. We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help us take on tough challenges in this fast-expanding healthcare industry segment.
Join us in our mission to transform the healthcare staffing industry and improve patient lives!
Own the Marketplace Powering Healthcare Work
Healthcare facilities need a faster, smarter, and more reliable way to connect with the clinical professionals who keep care moving.
That’s what Medely is building.
Our Flex marketplace is the core of our business today, connecting healthcare facilities with qualified professionals across the country. It’s proven, scaled, and business-critical. Now we’re focused on what comes next: improving how facilities engage, how professionals find the right opportunities, how matching works, and how we drive deeper retention and expansion.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants real ownership of those problems.
This is not a “take tickets and ship features” PM role. You’ll work across complex marketplace dynamics - supply and demand, matching, trust, conversion, and retention - and be expected to challenge assumptions, define the right problems, and make thoughtful tradeoffs that drive measurable outcomes.
Why Now?
You’ll join at a point where the marketplace has real traction, real data, and real business impact - with meaningful room to shape what comes next.
You’ll have direct access to leadership, strong cross-functional partners, and ownership of product decisions that affect both the healthcare facilities we serve and the professionals who power them.
What You'll Own
-
Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key areas of the Flex marketplace
-
Own major product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration, including high-quality PRDs, clear success criteria, and cross-functional alignment
-
Use product data, marketplace signals, customer insights, and user research to identify the highest-value problems to solve
-
Make strategic tradeoffs across conversion, retention, supply and demand, matching quality, operational efficiency, and user experience
-
Partner deeply with Engineering and Design while driving alignment across Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Clinical, Finance, and leadership
-
Measure what ships, learn from outcomes, and feed those insights back into product strategy
-
Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities before they become obvious - and bring a point of view on what we should do next
-
Apply AI and LLMs pragmatically as a force multiplier - both to simplify user workflows and to supercharge your own team's operational velocity
Who You Are:
You want ownership, not hand-holding.
You’re comfortable turning complex systems, messy user behavior, and business-critical tradeoffs into intuitive, elegant user experiences. You can zoom out to understand marketplace dynamics and zoom in to define the workflow, metric, requirement, or edge case that determines whether something succeeds.
You’re analytical, highly accountable, and willing to challenge the direction when the evidence points somewhere better. You don’t just move work forward - you make the work sharper.
You’ll likely be successful here if you have:
-
5+ years of product management experience shipping software in startup, marketplace, SaaS, or scaled technology environments
-
Experience owning product areas from discovery through launch and iteration
-
Strong product judgment and the ability to define clear problems, success criteria, requirements, and tradeoffs
-
Experience using both qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, evaluate user behavior, funnel conversion, retention, or marketplace health
-
Strong technical communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams
-
Excellent written and verbal communication across technical, business, and executive audiences
What Will Set You Apart
-
Experience building or scaling a two-sided or three-sided marketplace
-
Experience with matching, supply-demand dynamics, trust, onboarding, retention, or marketplace liquidity
-
Healthcare, workforce, staffing, labor marketplace, or regulated industry experience
-
Experience building products that serve both businesses and individual users
-
Experience using AI, LLMs, or workflow automation to improve product experiences or team effectiveness
